Cover Story in Dulcimer Players News

• October 09, 2026
• Kendra Ward & Bob Bence

We were honored to be on the cover of the August 2026 issue of Dulcimer Players News, Vol. 52 No. 3. Vicki L. Friedman wrote the profile, "Kendra Ward: Honoring a lifelong connection to traditional music."

The story follows the family dulcerine from Kendra's grandmother Lillie, through Kenneth and Martha Ward, and into the duo work of the last forty years. Dulcimer Players News gave us permission to reprint it here, and we are glad to share it.
